Tatkal waiting list ( CKWL), it is Indian Railway's waiting list to fill the tatkal contingent. CK is the codename used for Indian Railway's tatkal Quota. There is a distinction between CKWL and the normal Waiting List (WL). When an ordinary waiting list is increased it will be moved to the reservation against Cancellation category. However, in CKWL it is when the waiting list gets bigger, it will be moved onto confirmed reservation.
TQWL (or CKWL) is Tatkal Waiting Liste. ... When there is a raise on a tatkal request and confirmed, it is immediately acknowledged. It doesn't need to go through RAC status, like GNWL.
